Dennis Pettinelli, CLU, ChFC, LUTCF, CLTC, is the Founder and Managing Director of Pettinelli Financial Partners. He started in the financial services industry over 40 years ago. For 25 of those years, he was responsible for recruiting, training and developing John Hancock professionals in Northern California. Along the way, he has attained the following designations: Chartered Life Underwriter; Chartered Financial Consultant; Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow; and Certified in Long Term Care.
Dennis has built a successful organization which focuses on providing financial education and guidance that helps clients make the best financial decisions now and in the future. His team of associates is dedicated to serving a multi-generational clientele who are attracted to the firm's reputation for excellence in client service and cultivating relationships that last for clients’ lifetimes and into future generations. Dennis’ strong belief in the importance of multi-generational planning is demonstrated by the firm’s second generation team of financial professionals.
Past industry achievements include multiple memberships to the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table’s “Top of the Table,” which is bestowed upon the top 800 financial professionals worldwide. He is one of the few members to achieve Hall of Fame status as a practitioner and Masters status as a managing director within Signator Investors, Inc, / John Hancock Financial Network. Over the years, Dennis has consistently served on Signator Investors' President's Round Table, an advisory group to the broker-dealer's management.
Dennis is active in his community believing strongly in giving back. He is a long time member of the Belmont Rotary Club where he personally funds at least one teacher grant per year, and also regularly donates to the local church parishes, most notably Immaculate Heart of Mary. In addition, Dennis was the first-ever recipient of the Notre Dame de Namur University community service award given to the person who most exemplifies altruism to the community.
Considering himself a life coach, Dennis believes that consumers are more educated today than ever before and that when given the correct information, they will make good decisions. To this end, Dennis works with people to develop and implement their own financial plans. He believes that the value he brings to the equation is his wisdom, and in the 40 years he has been practicing, he has seen just about everything.
Dennis is an avid sports fan, and his personal philosophy on life is parodied by baseball. Every day, everyone is given three or four opportunities to be successful. And whether you are successful or not, tomorrow there is another game. At the end of the year, we celebrate achievements or reflect on disappointments. Either way, each January the year begins anew. And just like in baseball, no one can be successful in life without other players on the team.
